The Tiggers got tossed out of the Top 25 after their two losses last week, which is sort of rough treatment considering that the losses came to the BugThugs and Duke.  The Institutional Insects’ follow-up performance at Florida State may not have helped the cause of Clem’s Son, but still, that’s got to be some roller coaster ride, after ESPN just discovered that you actually have a homecourt (and an outstanding one, for - - get this - - decades now!!!!!!) and all.  In any case, it’s just about time for Outrageous Ollie to start the Annual Clemson Tank Job; I won’t pick it, but watch them lose this one.

I was pretty surprised that the Droplets didn’t draw more votes in the Associated Guess poll this week - - surging past overly stiff Longwood, then destroying that NCSU juggernaut, and no love?  By the way, is anyone playing an easier ACC schedule this season than Sweaty?  Meanwhile, the Hurryclowns prepare to drop to 1-5 with this one, forcing peals of laughter at the fact that they were ranked just three weeks ago; bye, Frank.

Of course the Turds blew the Woofies all the way to BWI after said furry fellows playing the game of the decade when Duke came into Raleigh. Meanwhile, Mee-Mee can’t even beat Boston College at home. Just go, go, you’re embarrassing both of us.

NORTH CAROLINA-CHAPEL HILL (12-7, 1-3) @ NORTH CAROLINA STATE (13-7, 2-4)

Unranked North Carolina - - hahahahahahahahaha.  Oh, that feels good to say out loud.  Listen, we’ll all be watching this one with breathless anticipation, because if the Tools drop it, they’re probably out of the NCAA Tournament barring a fairly serious 180, but we all know they’re not going to drop it.

You know, a strange thing happened when the polls came out Monday; the sure-thing repeat as National Champs were nowhere to be seen. Well, except the Coaches’ “Poll,” where they got one vote.  Wonder who that was?
